Be patient when have line in here. for me using Indonesian rate the meal was soo costly.
Complete department store. You can get anything.
A full selection of a wide variety of products presented in an attractive manner as well as thoughtful and polite service
It is crowded mostly from chinese tourist in july,Its great shopping and people watching.
Not too crowded and friendly staff. Has an express elevator which is really helpful in terms of timing and logistics.
Big department store with a few cafes. If you need to waste some time and need to chill for a few hours this is a good place to just come and relax as it is air conditioned!
Tax refund process here is fairly painless (and quick in the mornings) where everything is done swiftly while sitting at a very comfy office seat, with options to refund via cash or credit card or multiple other options. Tho not convenient or easy to find as the shop I went was at North Building wheres the Tax refund office was in the West Building. Took a while to find my way there. Phew.Ps: maigo? Get to info counter on 1st floor of each building.
Wow. Excellent place. Ideal for a quick and easy shopping .
Place is nice with a lot of attentive staff, much more then out west. The restaurants are up top.
Pricey Shopping Mall... upmarket stuffs. Only the basement supermarket worth the time.
Very convenient mall strategic location in Osaka.
Great food and products but be ready to spend a lot. But it wont hurt if you spend a little over for you especially for the great tasting and wonderful looking food and sweets once in a while.
An awesome departmental store with lots of different small brands within. There are some great oversea brands and local Japan brands. There is also a sky garden on top to take a break from shopping. There is a fully decked out family room for family with baby, along with pram for hire.
If you have disposable income then shopping at Diamaru's flagship store at Shinsabashi is a must. Go at 6:00 pm as you'll pick up discounted products from the foodhall. After that you can join the hordes of humanity passing through Dotonbori.
Nice shopping experience. Good service !ðŸ‘
The photo booth on the 1st. floor for holiday season and free to take a pic.
As you have expected just like any other department stores in Japan. Very well organised. They have everything. I usually find the underground food section useful. In here, there are quite a lot of fresh produce, desserts and ready to eat food for you to choose. However, the home grocery section for sauces, dry ingredients, spices, cooking essentials are relatively small! I was hoping they have a larger section here as tourists do look for these items to buy back home! Not much sales in this department store but given its location, i dun think they needed to cut down their price. Lots of tourists in here. I think it gets crowded at times.
Could buy cute stuff here?
I grew up shopping at Daimaru in Bangkok. It looked and felt the same in all their branches around Japan. The ambience was so welcoming and friendly staff including the crew at the elevator. Restaurants upstairs were best selections with various Japanese cuisines.
Plenty of luxury boutiques here for all the high end shoppers.
Daimaru had more fancy stuffs than other dept stores around the area. Good place to look around.
Ok but expensive
If ur interested in you’re tax back don’t shop here ... you first need to find the tax free shop, then wait in line with 5000 of your closest friends to get your money back ... go elsewhere to a shop that exists in the 2000’s
The place for all you high end brand cravings. Attentive service
Great selection of high-end goods!
Daimaru has branded shopping..shopping at the stores on shinsabashi was more economical.
Beautiful multi storey shopping centre with shopping experience spanning over 14 floors! Many variety and speciality outlets in the mall. Some great restaurants on Level 13. Through the backdoor of the mall, you can enter the open area shopping mall where you can find a lot of bargains. Overall a great shopping experience.
Big place. The Pokemon center located at 13th floor.
On the 13th floor there are restaurant/cafe with a few establishments and toilet. It's a big department store in the middle of Shinsaibashi shopping street where you will find big signature branded stores like Chanel, YSL, etc.
This department store was huge!! It has a great selection of high end items and you can spend a good few hours walking around. The tax free counter was in another building which got kind of confusing when we were trying to look for it but the store associates and even the door man was happy to point us to the right direction. The tax free counter had a huge line but the line moved fairly quickly and getting the money back took under 5 minutes.
Big
Do not recommend the drug store "Plumagi" there, with bad experience with a Chinese staff there (name label with xå“x character). We asked if she would combine a bill just a few minutes after we had paid it. She told us to buy some more, with more than 5400 yen purchase, we could combine the bills to enjoy tax free. We did as told, she then lectured us with a long face , in mean tone, saying that it was her manager's job to cancel the first bill, not hers, we brought her trouble, and she had to tell us her rules, what customers should do ....she kept her hands down, no intention to make a sale, Why told us to buy more in the first place?
Extremely busy and over priced like most department stores
Service is good, nice and bright department store. tax free service is simply amazing
Tons of high quality food and sweets selections. Great discounts 30 minutes before closing time daily. Easy access from train station.
Great customer service, highly recommended!
One of the great luxury department stores of Japan. At time of writing, one of the three buildings that make up the complex is closed for renovations leaving the south and the north buildings open, no matter there is still souch to choose from and the luxury brands are there in abundance. Tourists qualify for tax free purchases via antax claim department in the south building, so remember to take your passport with you just in case you are tempted. I bought a suitcase, Japanese made, at a very good price and being Japanese the quality is fantastic.
A little pricey if you want to buy something. Almost no tourist inside. Head up to the R floor for free access for a roof view of Osaka. Not grand but a good spot to rest and get away from the crowds below. Im still surprised none of the thousands of locals or a single tourist was on the roof when I went. Strange especially for a Friday at 4pm. Enjoy the hidden gem before word gets out.
Huge variety of shops, very good area.
So many different stores and sections in this department store, quite tall and was currently under expansion works while we were there. Only downside is probably the fact that it's a little bit of a maze as my brother and I while trying to find the exit got lost. Fair amount of clothing and exclusive areas all around.
One stop place to shop many kind of goods. Nice place in the nice spot :)
Big Jap Shoppinh Mall.
Shinsaibashi is Osaka's premier shopping center, from trendy boutiques, high fashion chain stores like H&M and Zara, luxury fashion houses e.g. Calvin Klein and Gucci, to expensive department stores. You name it, Shinsaibashi most probably have it! The crowd is crazy though, so be prepared to bump shoulders.
High end dep store, all branded you name it they have it.
Big shopping mall next to it
There is a prayer room at 7th floor at south center. Once you step out of the lift, the prayer rooms are on your right with toilet nearby. Slippers are provided in the prayer room. Very convenient. You can shop with a peace of mind knowing you have already perform your duty.
Upscale, so expensive including restaurants, but very nice shopping experience and great restrooms.
Not far from it you find a quiet eat place. No need to eat standing at stalls when you need just a good simple meal to taste comfortably. I had udon with pork daikon and egg.
Shin Sai Bashi Suji is a huge Ginza with miles of shops, restaurants and hotels, located in Osaka Japan. We stayed 2 days but, could have used another 2 days. You will need a good pair of walking shoes! If you plan your stay, I suggest at least 4 days to explore the shops & restaurants and do some site seeing. The food is amazing and shopping was a blast; prices are very reasonable and the night life is the best. In my next review, I will show the hotel we stayed at, let me just say...it was interesting.
Good place for shopping and close at 10 pm , have a long way for shopping and have many many item,
